i have been gathering parts to install a turbo for my 1993 ranger for about two months, then i got a 68 chevelle and lost all interest in it. well my car got stolen crushed and shredded, witch sucks.however last week my clutch went out in my truck and i installed a gold mini stock 14 lbs clutch in my truck and now i have allllllll interest in it again. all i have so far is ext manifold & turbo from 88 t bird, boost gage, fuel air Gage, blow off valve and fuel pump with adjustable regulator, now it would be nice to here about any info or tips from any one who has done this before, because i have a heavy foot and don't want to lose my motor. also do rangers come with a d port head i want to put a big valve big cam head in my ranger but don't want to have to get new manifolds.

thanks guys

the next thing you NEED is forged pistons, they are needed if you want power out of it and for it to survive...

may want to invest in buying a turbo motor and doing a swap. I the turbo 2.3s motor was built for boost and can take more boost than the factory had them set too
