Turbo?!?!

Food for thought...I'm sure that others have already spoken of this topic, and if so and you want to point to the threads, great otherwise...

The previous owner of the '96 Ranger that I purchased has asked me if I would be interested in purchasing a TurboCoupe Bird for parts to convert the Ranger over to Turbo. As I love Thunderbirds, I have considered this. This particular Bird is running, but not well, and is setting on two flats in the weeds alongside the garage...so it will serve well as a parts car...question remains about the head on the Bird. Is it correct, will it fit. Yes, 2.3 to 2.3, but water jackets, etc. lining up. Has anyone actually completed this build?

It's the same engine... Use the entire t-bird engine, it's already set up to handle the turbo...

Great, now I just need to see if he still has the Bird or not...worse case scenario...there are alot of rotted TC's still on the road, motors are still running.
