im in stalling a turbo from a 1986 turbo coupe. what do i need to take off from that motor to put on my 1993 ranger 2.3. will my factory headers work for the turbo and is my intake better or should i use the other one?:icon_twisted:

I don't think the TC intake will fit the DP 93 head you have. Just swap the rods and pistons and be done with it. Also install the E6 turbo manifold from the TC.

the pistons will let you run a significant amount of power if you swapped to the turbo ones...

swap the fuel injectors into your current intake keep the stock wiring harness but swap the turbo computer in and move the appropriate wires around (there's some wiring diagrams floating around, most on the tech library under turbo swap), keep the stock ignition system as it's more reliable than the TFI distributor setup on the '86 not to mention the distributor won't fit in your block... You will have to modify the stock heater box to make room for the turbo down pipe, I would move the oxygen sensor down the pipe a little bit to get it out of the way of the heater box too.

Do a lot of research before jumping in, ask questions (I'm tired or I would type up more), and don't expect to be done in a weekend and drive to work monday morning...
