What are you guys opinions on tuning the rear leaves for our trucks?

Right now Im building a bastard pack spirng pack. Im using 3 explorer leaves including the main leaf w/ the spring eyes, and using 3 of the ranger leaves plus an AAL. I have belltech 6400 shackles and Im looking at achieving 4" of lift as well as good flex.

The leaves are all very thin leaves (0.237-0.291 thick) and I've removed the overload spring on the bottom.

Is there any other pointers you could give me? Im thinking about taking the AAL out of the pack completely.

with the bastard pack, belltechs and the stock lift block, you should be near 4" i would think. depends on the condition of the leaves.

i made my own spring pack with EX leaves and 2 or 3 of my b2 leaves, plus cheapo belltechs and i'm at 3-3.5" i think

Also ordered all new leaf spacers (cuts down on the friction) and the little plastic pieces that go between the leaves at the end of the springs. Going to be an almost new set of leaves when I get the new bushings.

So what do you guys think? Will I be okay w/out the AAL?

Im interested to see what you get with that setup. Im running blocks in the rear with a shackles. I had to purchase a set of new leafs before I got the lift in due to the spring eyes being rusted. I was thinking of using the mains with the eyelet cut off adding those and maybe a few others to get the lift and use the factory block instead of the 4 inch.
