I was looking at getting an SCT Tuner for my '97 ford ranger. 2.3L 5 speed.later on I am going to be putting a turbo on it (right now I'm in the process of collecting parts) and so since I will have to get a tuner eventually anyways why not get it right now, right? and so I was wondering if i got this tuner - http://www.sctflash.com/products.php?PID=1&VID=784#3 - if i could use it right now, and later on for when I put the turbo on? also how would I purchase custom tunes for it?

btw, I have done research on this, just can't find that much on tuning this engine, so any help would be greatly appreciated
