I bought radius custom heim radius arms for my 4x4 Ranger. I'm running a 2" longer coil, Stx brackets, and stock width beams. The company that did my arms measured my truck to build the beams. They said they would have to kick them in to make it work with a stock coilbucket setup.
So I went to install my new radius arms and I ran into some problems:
The driver side beam, when attached to the beam, won't get in line with the frame and pivot bracket because it binds up on the fins of the third member and the bolt that holds it to the beam.
When I pull the beam back so it will line up into the bracket, the wheelbase is thrown way off. (This was done at ride height, not droop)
I took them back to the builder and they cleared out some of the material on the beam and suggested cutting out the fin on the third member and the beam to allow clearance. This still didn't work.
So my question is, does the beam need to be pushed in (toward the center of the truck) to clear the stock coil and shock?
I'm trying to get pics... Thanks
