TTB frame?

it's been over 20 years since I had my '83 but I'm pretty sure the front suspension had "uneven I-Beam suspension". Is this the same as" TIB" it was a 2wd and a very early off the line model. This is what stopped me from getting it lowered. All my buddies had S-10's and all they had to do was cut/heat the springs. I had to get lowered spindles ( $$ ) and C notch or flip the rear axle ( $$ ) and all that so I rode at stock height.

You 83 had TIB. Ford had used it on 2wd trucks for almost 10 years by 83. It is sometimes called "uneven I-beam" not because the beams are different lengths but because they are off-set differently. They can't sit evenly in the frame, or they would hit each other, so one sits farther back, which causes that wheel to sit a little farther back in it's wheel well.

And yes, I like big titties with big nipples.

10 years by 83? Bit off there son.

TIB debuted 1964.

(.)(.) or (o)(o)

you like those oatmeal cookie looking things?
In my opinion, quality outranks size. I personally believe there is such a thing as "too big".

IMO boobies are all the same, once you've seen one pair, you want to see them all:icon_thumby:

10 years by 83. Insinuating it came out in 73 lol

The earliest ads for TIB trucks I have ever seen were from the early 70s, and made it look like a new concept.

TIB was in use on the 1966 F-series, as indicated by the badge on the fender (or was it on the side of the hood?).

Wasn't it earlier than that? The generation change was 1962, I think.

From Wikipedia:

In 1965, the F-Series was given a significant mid-cycle redesign. A completely new platform, including the "Twin I-Beam" front suspension, was introduced that would be used until 1996 on the F-150 and until 2016 on the F-250/350 4x2

Not like wikipedia knows everything, but that seems to be our answer. Then again, wikipedia calls the second generation of the Ranger a refresh of the first generation.

Ok, my bad, guess it was 1965....
