trying to get codes

1987 2.3 GAS, I THINK I read them right, I got a 31 and a 67, the 67 went away after I pulled the neg cable from the battery. I went and got a new EGR Position Sensor, 31 is still coming up. also, would an 87 also have the 3 digit codes, I THINK I'm also getting a 112, but I am not sure if I am reading it right, or if its 11, 12, etc....

I also found that the line going from the charcoal canister, to the TB was not attached to the TB.

If I recall correctly the 67 is the park/neutral code. Removing power temporarily shouldn't clear it. The code will indicate if not in park or neutral. For manual trans it is just Neutral. Maybe you were in neutral during second test when it was clear.

actually, the first code pull, I had it in Reverse, so that's probably why, lol

would I get a 31, then 111, the 11? does that make sense?
