i have an 85 ford ranger with the 2.3. ive been ready bout putting a 2.5 crank in it. i was wondering if anyone could give me a lil more advice on how to do this and what all is needed. new and just trying to figure this out. thanx for the help.

if you do that, use the whole short block of the 2.5... the crank has more stroke than the 2.3 and shorter con ronds than the 2.3,
if you just boly on the 2.5 crank with the rods and pistons you will have the pistons out of the bore and hitting the bottom of the head
