I have a stock 2wd Ranger and I am in the market for tires and wheels. I have figured out what tires I am going to run. I have decided on the 225/70-16 Yokohama AVID TRZ's:

I have decided on the Unique 297's @ 7" width:

My only question now is what would be the best backspacing, and offset? I really want to keep the wheels/tires tucked inside of the wheel wells, I've never liked trucks like mine with their wheels and tires sticking out of the wheel wells.

So if anyone has any experience with this sort of combo and my type of truck, please chime in.

Any help would be appreciated.:icon_thumby:

Best regards,

Nick

I can't really comment on the BS/offset for a 2wd '92 Ranger. Just wanted to see if you know about the Cragar Soft 8 wheels. They look almost identical to those and odds are they're much cheaper. How much apiece for those Uniques?
