Truggy trail rig build thread

Took awhile but got the weight distribution hitch on and adjusted. Truck sits 7/8 lower at the rear wheel opening with the trail and ranger connected and the front stayed the same. when I pulled it down to Turkey Bay it was 4 inches lower in the rear.

Everything worked great today but a manual hub. The second one that I've broke lately. So I'm going to order some drive flanges.

The ranger was the only rig to make it up trail 17 without winching and I was with some nice trail rigs. The last time I tried 17 I backflipped my 85 4runner.

By looking at those trucks its probably a good thing I couldn't make it. Lol. I wouldn't be able to hang with trucks like that.

Yeah we had a good time. Even ran a good trail that I didn't know about, Jeremy put a hole in his soft top while climbing one of the hills on that trail with a turn half way up. It was one of those butt pucker hills.

I was told today that Ian from the extreme 4x4 show will be there at Wishbone the 9th. Should be interesting.

yup, they are gonna be scouting for the hill they want for their competition run for the weekend of July 28th.....I knew Ian will be there for that weekend, didn't know he would be there next...

Wishbone Ranch in Bowling Green KY is a awesome place and we had a great time. Phil broke a axle shaft Railman got a hole in his tire and I got some body damage on the passenger door.

Picked up some new parts.

Full width 8.8 open carrier. Will be getting 4.56 gears disc brakes and welded spiders.

Weld on beadlocks.
