Truckspotters

it appears I am a bad influence on my neighbor.

Nah, that's just a newfangled lowering kit, somewhat hinders drivability unless 4x4 though...

Saw some cool fullsize ‘70’s fords at a car show a few weekends ago. And the 1st one is a local truck, it was at a auction I went to.
The last one I saw online, a true super-crew!

Saw this yesterday. Don't think I would want a Maverick for overlanding. But I do think it was a nice looking rig.

Try a 2006 Ranger for $24,997
That Ranger has only 28,000 miles after 17 years. That's why the seller wants so much for it. To me that low mileage is actually a red flag, not a plus, because that implies either sitting a lot or being used for short trips and not getting warmed up. Neither is good for a vehicle.

This one has the 4.0 SOHC. I wonder how sitting and short trips over so many years affected the timing-chain tensioners and cartridges...

The price should tell you that the old Rangers are still in high demand.
