I do hope Ford can preserve it, it is neat in its own weird 90's way. Stupid random thought, are there any Ranger concepts in existence on display anywhere?

If ford gets it they will crush it no question. All companies destroy their prototypes and concepts, very few ever survive. The EV rangers they made for like 2 years they still want back and those were actually sold to the public! They have tried to kill them all, if you own one ford might give you decent money to give it back in trade.

If I had one they would not want it... that is just how do things.

I know its future is bleak but it would be fun if it found its way to the Henry Ford or something since it has lasted long enough to become an antique. It isn't really "just another prototype" now.

random question, if something has no official identification how can it be legally identified?????
hell, anybody can copy a paint job and add a few parts.

of course then you have to deal with other issues, like state laws against possessing vehicles & parts without a serial number.
that can be a big oh crap moment.
