Truckspotters

View attachment 49556
Front wheel drive with a rear beam like the early Dodge minivans. Front looked like a late 80's Shadow.
Um i never noticed it before....but did dodge buy left over 73-79 F series/75-91 EConoline taillights for those?

Saw this ol' girl this morning on my way home from the post office. She's a 250 Ranger. Either somebody took really good care of her, or she's been restored. A few minutes after I took these pictures, the owner started it up (I was already almost half a block away). She sounded good, smooth as silk.

Does that FORD have Dodge Rampage tail lights???

👀👀👀

Ford had those lights in 73. Rampage came out in what...81?

Either way given chryslers financials at the time its not out of the relm of possibility. Athough looking on ebay after i posted that...a set of 73-79 ford taillights is 20 bucks. A rampage light is 65 for one decent used one.

But they look like twins really.
For as long as I can remember, Dodge seemed to copy or use ford parts.

I knew a guy who was trying to restore a Pantera. Ford Motor, AMC parts. GM tail light harness. Parts from all over the place.

AMC has no room to talk though....they used an AMC motor, ford accesorys/carbs, and often times a GM hydromatic lol. Atleast in jeeps. Not sure about their cars.
