That Dodge is a work horse. I have beaten on it and pulled many vehicles heavier than show. I dont feel like digging through all my pictures but it is the most reliable next to the lancer.

Might need it to tow that dodge home.

Sorry...had too.

Perfect for tailgating before the game.

Front wheel drive with a rear beam like the early Dodge minivans. Front looked like a late 80's Shadow.

they shared the platform of the Horriblerizon and the Omni. some of the earlier Rampages had the 024 Omni front end.

Not a bad looking vehicle for its day, other than having plymouth reliability :p

There was also a Charger that was essentially the same vehicle from the B pillar forward.

I still have my 1984 reliant.

It still runs.

Where's your first car?

there was one for sale up here a couple weeks ago for 750, real good shape, owner just didn't know what to do with it.

I was reeeeeeal tempted.

dunno... traded it off over 20 years ago :) since it was a 1996 Chevy Monte Carlo, there is an off chance it is still on the road...

The one thing about Chrysler is you get a crap shoot. it will either last forever as the body rots off of the frame/ motor mounts or it will nickle and dime you to death until you want to go into the FCA building, slay all the executives and turn the engineers into eunuchs.

In my ownership of 2 Dodges, I had one of each. the 1994 Intrepid would likely still be on the road today if it hadn't been totalled. Wife bought it used in 2003 with only 58k miles on it. the only real gripe that I had about that car when it was totalled in 2012 was that the A/C system was garbage from the factory as were the headlights. everything else about that car was awesome and it had nearly 200k at the time it was totaled.. It was the reason we bought the next Dodge.

the 2009 Charger that we bought brand new and only did dealer servicing was a nightmare for the 10 years and 175k miles that we owned it. literally every other oil change for 10 fawking years there was something wrong/ something went bad. took Chrysler 3 years to fix an oil leak (ended up replacing the short block because they finally found it had a casting flaw in it...)
10 years under the lifetime warranty the following things were replaced:
rear main seal (at 3000 miles did not fix the effing leak)
oil line near the rear main seal (did not fix the effing leak)
Numerous other possible leaking components within 3 years and 50k miles.. then the Dealer came to the conclusion that the only other thing to look at was the block itself
Engine. (short block, holee cow, fixed the oil leak)
3 complete steering replacements. pump, rack, hoses. all three times they blew out and dumped the entire load of p/s fluid in my driveway, at Kroger, at work. it was weird, because after the first failure, the 2nd one was almost a year to the date after the first, and the third was almost a year to the date after the 2nd.. (fun driving a car from downtown Indianapolis to Noblesville with no power steering)
A/C system (did not surprise me... I think Dodge a/c is junk lol after chasing the Intrepid's a/c 6 or 7 times before giving up)
HVAC controls (to fix a burned out bulb, the entire control has to be replaced)
Radio.
Speakers.
Headlight switch
the instrument cluster 6 times.
Battery died in less than 2.5 years.
a few other odds and ends that I can't remember, but those were the highlights.
This car was taken out of my misery in Jan of 2019, totaled it.... (maybe Dodges are bad luck lol)
The only reason that we kept the car so long was the lifetime warranty, and it was getting to be a pain to take it into the shop every couple of months, and usually the repairs were such that I needed to leave it there for a few days...

How many miles does the K car have on it? and even more to the point, what have you done to keep it from rusting into powder?
