Truckspotters

Its on the corner in winslow arizona, stakesides , but a flatbed ford none the less. Wheres the girl that goes with the flatbed ford at?

Last weekend during the “rt 30/lincoln highway” yard sales (clear across ohio) I saw a F5 , just cab and front sheet metal, nothing on rear frame rails, saw it had a vacuum 2-speed rear axle. cyl head on front seat, so not a runner. looked cool, could barely read a business name on drivers door. Would of been a neat project.
I didn't see the girl. I was looking though.

I missed the sign. Cool photo.

This F100 has an engine and transmission from a aerostar van im told.

What seats do you have in that Gen2 with the red interior? My '91 had a split bench with high back bucket style seat backs (and an armrest in the middle). I have a few pictures of the exterior, but no interior shots. Oh, it was a supercab, red interior.

I have bucket seats from a 89 STX and a $20 plastic advanced auto console for now until I decide what I want to do for the Center.

interesting picture?????

check out the window above the star, between Winslow & Arizona.

unless that's a poster, the reflection of the truck in the window should be way off camera to the left.
or is it a double reflection from a window to the cameras left?

the truck is casting a shadow, the people not so much.

that tree in the bed of the truck? it must really be in the truck's bed because it has no trunk.

the shadows cast by both trees are detailed and show the sun is high over the camera, again, people have no shadow.

except the guy right at the corner of the building. he has a detailed shadow.

but not on his lower legs. there must be a tall building behind the camera blocking the sun, that accounts for the lack of people shadows.

the sun line is also across the top of the sign "standing on the corner" indicating the entire sidewalk is not in direct sunlight.

so I guess it all can be explained, its a picture of ******* in a window looking at a portable tree.

but wait! there"s more!!!!

the tree is in a planter, which is set back far enough to give the illusion of a trunkless tree.

so that explains everything, it all makes sense, even the window with ******* in it.:shok:

(sorry 'bout this, its a slow morning)

Looks like they've aired up the tires since I was by there a few weeks ago.
I took the pic Apr '19.

It's a picture in the window, not a reflection. In the picture, the girl is in the truck.
The interesting part, is that the motorcycle doesn't have an "AZ" sticker and is clearly in Arizona.
The AZ sticker is on the other side.

These pics might help explain it. Cropped the wife out because I didn't want to have to deal with her wrath. 07/17/2020

sidewalks look a bit empty, just like they are around here. :dntknw:

They should paint a mask on the girl in the flatbed Ford. And put a mask on the statue of the guy standing in the corner.

Was there in 2018 while seeing Meteor Crater.
Downtown Winslow is only about 2 blocks long. If it weren't for the fact it's on Rt 66, you wouldn't even know it's there. A handful of gift shops selling stuff from China, and a few restraunts.
The ONLY thing bringing tourists there is the song and the corner. Ended up eating at the local Hardee's off the interstate cause even the locals won't eat in the restraunts downtown.
