Trucks

This is an awesome build. Trucks! is the only show I actually wake up for after getting off night shifts. All of you guys do an awesome job. The only problem is the airing schedule but oh well watching reruns is fun too.

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more of the build.

I remember "Project Copperhead" and "Project Crazy Horse" and of course I remember seeing Stacy shred on their matching guitars. My favourite episode was when Stacey to out the ammored personel carrier (I can't rember what it was for the life of me) and it caught a tree and no on inside even noticed it had this 30 ft thing on the roof until they got out.

I would really like to see this thing done up in a black theme just like the Marauder the motor was pulled from. Kind of a transformation. Come to think of it maybe the Marauder rims would fit underneath the RBV8. (I wonder if one of these names will stick lol)

Would it be possible to get the build? That would be pretty cool, of course I'm sure most of us would just replay the part where TRS was mentioned over and over again:D

Thats what I'm doing puting a 4.6 interceptor engine in my 99 then theming it like a police interceptor.:D I am watching the show on the net carefully.

Has there been a new show lately? Either no or my TiVO is not picking it up

.

Coming up this weekend! IT runs! IT drives! it loses traction!

We bring it back home after a t est drive and reveal our plans for "Stage II"

CHeck it out.

just seen the show you got to drive it. awesome job so far, i have one question for ktrucks? any reason with the shop you have there you didn't dyno that engine before install? that surprised me a little..:dunno:

Too bad that original engine packed it in on you. I like that you included that. It shows how honest you are about the build. I've seen it happen where a guy will drop an engine into a project and it grenades. When you ask about what happened to the original engine you get a blank stare LOL. I am really enjoying this build, KT. Keep up the great work!

We didnt dyno test it because you're "average guy" that's doing a salvage yard swap most likely wouldnt go to the expense of it.... I hate that we spun a bearing... Neither one of us wanted to "gloss over" the problems we had, nobody gets any street cred for that. and as much as we all know its "TV" we always want to tell the truth..besides, we wanted to get on with the supercharged 4.6 install anyhow...

Thanks for watching!

most don't realize that some things have no choice but to get "glossed over"...especially in a 30min. show....

now if only Trucks! and Xtreme 4X4 could be made into 1hour shows ( surely alot of the edited stuff could be added back in:icon_thumby: ) would be awesome....no offence to the other 2 shows but i can only watch body work and engine building in 30 min. intervals.....:icon_rofl:

keep up the good work....

btw, ya'll gonna be goin back to Turkey Bay anytime soon....whether for the show or for fun????

HorsePower is always really busy and it is honestly hard to find time to get in there and get on the dyno. Plus what KT said.

Yeah, we were pretty bummed as we were looking forward to a full day of thrashing on that thind and coming back to the shop with bald rear tires. Oh well, stage II will have to fix that!

Haha! :headbang:

It has been too long since we got up to Turkey Bay. I have been back one time to ride ATV's but that's it. Maybe the next off road rig we build we can take back up there?????

You guys could do another 2 phase build using a similar year S10, and do a budget LS swap (or a 5.3) for phase one, then a LSA+T56magnum with C4 corvette suspension. Then you can pit them against each other later on, kinda like a Ford vs Chevy round 2! :yahoo: That would be one EPIC showdown.

Although I bet you guys already thought of that.
