Trucks

Project rolling thunder premiers on Trucks this Saturday at 11 a.m. central on spike

I would say they went with it because its new and different and starting to get kind of popular. 5.0l in ranger has been done over and over it would be like seeing a repeat of the 350 s-10 project.

Good point. Plus aftermarket support for that 4.6 is just booming.

Ooh ooo.... and modular V8s perform under pressure better than 302s. I've personally seen 450 supercharged horsepower split a 5.0L right down the lifter valley.

There is a few rotating assemblies out there that will make a 4.6L a true 5.0L! That would be neat.

Surpsied to see I'm the first to mention Part 1 of Project Rollin Thunder aired today.

Defintily convinced me to pull the cab off my truck for my V8 swap.
Will be intresting to see how well the 7.5 holds up during the testing phase.

Cant wait to see future parts aired seeing next week Trucks! is sceduled as a rerun.

I dont know what they've done with the airing schedule... it's very frustrating for us as well, as we have taped these shows back to back and haave advanced far pastthe point of what came on TV this weekend.... Let me just say that this project is VERY successful in many ways! :):headbang: but not without a couple of surprises.

Thanks for watching!

TRS and TRUCKS, Mazda V8 buildup, holy sh** that's AWESOME!!!!!

I have to agree completely on that one, its not every day one gets to interact with the hosts of one of their favorite shows, and the project being on one of their favorite vehicles.

The scheduling on Powerblock has been odd the last month or so, :dunno: usually watches them reruns or not . Keep up the great work Kevin & Ryan.:icon_thumby:

Just watched the episode online. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. I'm curious to find out what the surprises.:icon_confused:

I like this project!! Just wished Kev and Ryan used a supercab 4x4 instead! JK its gonna turn out great!! :icon_thumby:Now if I could see "super dually" finshed that would be sweet!!:icon_bounceblue:

I watched the show this morning.... I forgot how much we did in that one episode! Thanks for watching! we hope we touch on some of the things that you guys will run up against with your 4V V8 conversions.... hint hint..... it's VERY effective and not that difficult. Get-er-done!

is anyone else having issues with the powerblock site i cant watch rolling thunder it only wants to let me watch project work truckl

I think that Powerblock would do well to hire Jim Oaks to redo their website.... I have a harad time iwth it as well! This site is easier to navigate... JMHO! :)
