Truck running cold....2.3L

That I would like to see....That means you got to fly overseas....then find me....then find the truck.....

Shouldn't be too hard to find your truck. Probably the only B2300 sittin with frosted windows cause there's no heat to defrost them. :)

I am using searching on google earth for 1994 B2300 with frosted windshield. ZOoooooommmmingggg in.

Actually....GE would fail as it only shows the Mustang outside the garage.....

Hey how come you are not in the garage putting in that MC tstat like we told you :)

Well, I did replace the T-stat...Took it for a spin....no difference. Checked the hoses.....all hot, which to me means that the fluid is moving correctly. I did notice though that if the blower is not on full tilt, it does get hot.....Not skin melting, but enough to keep me warm.....As soon as I go full tilt, then it gets cooler and back down to the luke warm temp...

..all hot, which to me means that the fluid is moving correctly.

not really if the truck is not warmed up the tstat should be closed and the upper rad hose should not be hot. If the truck is not warmed up and the upper rad hose is hot that should indicate an open tstat or coolant bypass thru the tstat housing

is the coolant full and did you squeeze the upper rad hose to burp the air out ........maybe you have an issue with the heater control valve but i dont think so

this is auto mechanics 101 if your engine is not getting hot there is a tstat issue connect your heater hoses together ( pull them off the firewal)with a 5/8 connecter check that your heat control valve is working or else bypass that the same way. now if your engine does not warm up there is only one posible issue ..the tstat

so first determine if the engine is warming up properly then get back to us

I reread the thread. lets assume your truck is warming up properly then you need to check the heater control valve( you should update your signature so we know if you have A/C or not) could your blend door be broken and if that is fine maybe you need a heater core( which is easy repair in your truck). also how old are your heater hoses they can get clogged and narrowed

No AC...yes , the truck is was warmed up when I felt the hoses...

if you not have a/c i don't think you have a heater control valve. but check anyways it is inline with the heater hoses. when you turn the temp control nob all the way to hot (red) in my truck it is the middle one that goes from hot to cold with the engine running you should hear a little thud like a door closing. if you hear that i thud assume your blend door is working and that basically leaves your heater core as the issue. IMHO

you checked all the obvious stuff, right?, like the actual knobs are not broken and they are turning (switches) your hoses are not clogged and your heater core is not clogged( you backflush it). you should figure out why your temp gauge is not working prob temp sensor

I do not have knobs...Climate control is by slide levers. The only thing on a knob is blower fan speed.

ok and the fan is working at all the speeds. how about the blend door did you check that

god helps those who help themselves. look up about 3 or 4 posts you will see I asked you to check something about the door and you did not do ....I had feeling you were not even reading the posts
