alright i have a '87 Ranger STX highrider and ever since i got it the 4x4 has worked great. it would kick out of 4-low now and then but never had any more problems. about a month ago i went to play in the back of my field and locked my hubs in, put it in 4-hi and my truck now shakes really bad even at low speeds. even if i only lock the hubs in it does it or if i only put it in 4-hi w/o lockin them in it will do it. this is my first 4x4 so im not sure on what the problem is can anyone help? and also i just want to ask do the hubs turn clockwise or counterclockwise to lock in cause mine turn clockwise but they click when u lock them out. my buddy said that was wierd:sad:

the hubs are supposed to click when you put them in "free" and they do not click when you lock them.

it sounds like you grenaded your t-case and it won't unlock from 4high, but just to be sure you might want to check all your u-joints.

sounds to me like you have a bad u-joint in the front end. check them all for slop (5 total)

alright well i know its not my t-case cuz it does it in low too but i thought about the u joints too but i dont see how a bad one could make it shake that bad even at really low speeds but ill check them
