I have argued and argued with them and have gotten no where so oh well I only paid 100 bucks for it and a broken bronco 2 for it and my mom is giving me 500 cash for the whole mess cause her insurance isn't covering it mine is so life goes on.

I've driven a lot worse....... actually it's nicer than one of the trucks I drove in highschool.......

I would take a gun to the ins company and hold out until I got what it was worth.

You could sell it as is for 500 bucks..... I bet they have a racket going with a body shop and are going to sell it to them for parts and they will chop it up and splice it with another wreck and get 3k out of it.

i find it really hard that they will only give you 473 because i got rear ended last month and it toataled the suv that hit me and i got 900 and all that was wrong was bumper was bent up a little and box support snaped and cracked rear window cause my head hit it and i got 200 for pain and suffering for just having a head ace.. you must have really bad insureance.

I got hit by a woman a couple of weeks ago, they offered me 1100 for a 92 nissan sentra. told em i put new arts in it and talked with an attorney who wrote me a letter and they gave me 1500 plus the car back.

I'm sorry to say, man, but they ripped you off BAD. I went through the same thing with My truck. I had to total mine as well but I got $1,503 for her, also through Progressive, and I got to keep her too. Mine is an 88, had over $2,000 worth of body damage thanks to some asshole in a Honda Fit. But yeah, if I could get 1500 for my 88, you should have gotten a lot more for yours.
