SO I was driving down the road and all of a sudden the truck shut off.. then started back up and drove about 100 yards (running like crap) then died again.. it turns over and you can hear the exhaust bubling but that is all it will do. any ideas?

Check fuel pressure at the fuel rail with the key in Run (strong spray - watch your eyes!) and do you hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds when you go key off/run - 2 sec hum, off, repeat. Does it hum every time?

If not, is CEL on with key in Run? If not, PCM relay is dead. If CEL is on, might be fuel pump relay.

No sense checking for spark if the CEL isn't on in Run either, it won't be present. Check the PCM diode, if present in your underhood fusebox.

If CEL is on and you have power out of both wires at the inertia switch (where the passenger's toes rest) then your fuel pump died.

what is the CEM? and yes the fuel pump is working and their is spark..

ok yes the check engine light is on. there is fuel pressure. there is spark. all the fuses are good. it turns over fine but just acts like there is no spark or fuel or something. it turns fine just has no ambition to start

is that everything is .ok. or bad yet

[[[unplug the TPS and ICM, and then crank and connecting ICM and turn the keys. the engine going worked and'll connect the TPS ... Try this way and then give me the news.]]]

check your ground wire i had that before and everything checked fine but the bad ground caused it to not fire. i found it by accident i grabbed the wire while under the truck and it snapped it was corroded inside the insulation
