TRS Event TRS 25th Anniversary Fall Adventure - Land Between The Lakes - September 5th – 8th, 2024

Tell your wife to bring her short one too. There might be a few single guys around camp that could use some company.

:sexe:

(Is that going to far?)
hahahha ill see how many shes got and that can come with us lmao...

I can swing up and get him. As far as I know, Jonny O and I are the only ones close and we are going. I don't thi k Jonny is.
I'm going to Carlisle for sure. 25th at LBL would be nice, I'll go if possible, but my vacation time is going to be tight and I'm going to the Ford Nationals as well. And I need my other knee replaced too and going to try to tough it out through the summer.

If the Truck Nationals is going to be a regular thing I may end up passing on the Ford Nationals and just going to Truck in the future. At least one TRS Staffer should be there and few of us have a year of experience on how the setup works.

Okay, holy bajeezus Batman!!! How many biscuits for the biscuits and gravy is there going to be??? How many pounds of sausage??? I did get approvals for the week to come down which is as a tad bit tricky, but my new supervisor is super wonderful when it comes to working with schedules. I now work 6:30-3 so I can definitely get a head start on those biscuits and maybe other snacks as well. 😆

I am going to actually see if I could come to this event.
Its a bit of a hike.. and I have some more to do on the Grimace before I make a trip like that. BUT, this is right up our alley and my family would love it!

How's the weather out there that time of year?
We would have to either drive 2 cars or I could consider towing the ranger out there with my wifes tallhoe... but im going to see

It's a pretty good hike for most everyone. It's worth the effort if you can swing it. I believe Jim has the longest drive of the regular attendees. I'm not sure who takes second. Try as we might, making a big event local to everyone with the size that this country is just is impossible. We try to encourage local meets as a result. Some work out better than others. The last meet we had here only drew three people. Truck Nationals in Carlisle, PA was more successful, that that really isn't a regional event.

Only way we could even come close to that would be to do something near Jim. Northern Texas/Oklahoma area. Very slim chance that it would work out for the better that way that way though. I'll be honest, the only reason I'm going to try to make this one is because it's the TRS 25th, that's kind of like a major milestone, but if it were further away I don't think it would be an option.

Most other times I'd be hard pressed to want to make that trip for a group event. Heck I'm member of another group that does a g2g here in the state 2-3 times a year. I've been part of that group for 3-4 years and still haven't made one.

I just looked it up, over 2300 miles if I did it... Not saying I don't want to but don't see it being doable this year, I want to make a silly long road trip sometime though...

Hello everyone! I just did an introduction post. I am hoping to attend this event. I only live about an hour and a half away.

I looked at it. I’m impressed with your family service, and it sounds like a very nice family, and it looks like a great truck.

But you’ll still have to wear one of these the first time you come:
