TRS 2021 Fall Off-Road Round-Up

Mmmmm alright. Ill have to think it over then, I guess it'll just come down to how much they cost.

They can be really cheap if you play it right, @sgtsandman is planning on having his FX4 there... :icon_idea:

That is yet to be determined. The OEM tires aren’t as “All-Terrain” as the manufacture says they are.

Hahaha I ain't about to try to jack a guy that goes by sarge.

I did notice that the frame rails on the new rangers are about the lowest part on the truck.. no t-case hanging down or anything.. might try to make my own. Give it a full flat belly.

Again.. depends how much steel costs now lol. Might make more sense to just buy some. Ill do some research later today.

Surprisingly, my skid plates show no damage. On the other hand, the bottom of my diffs, bottom of both hitch receivers and bottom of the new rock sliders are all scarred/dented.

Depends how you drive and where you go. Plastic oil pans would make me nervous.

Perhaps I'll just go for some sliders then 🤔 we'll see what happens.

Let it evolve. Sliders are a good choice. Then drive the truck and figure out what you need next. And, above all, don't give in to peer pressure. If you're not comfortable with something, don't try it. If you damage your truck, it should be your free choice. Not peer pressure.

Experiment but like mentioned above don’t give into peer pressure.

Was wondering what I would make for dinner tonight... sliders sound good.

Happy to see some others planning on making it this year.

Almost more fun to stand around, BS and watch everybody else tear up their stuff anyway. :icon_thumby:

Some people have some pretty exotic toys out there...

Agreed. Honestly, no matter how far along my truck is by the roundup, it's still my ride home at the end of the weekend. I'll drive around a bit and have fun with it, but spend a lot of time watching Eric bashing his truck up.
