TRS 2021 Fall Off-Road Round-Up

Id really like to come, well see what the fiance says I guess! Seems like she's down for the trip.

Just a word of caution to anyone camping... it may get a little chilly at night, be prepared.

Or it could be hot. Its the midwest it can be whatever it wants to be. :icon_thumby:

I have mowed my yard twice this spring and it snowed all day yesterday. :dntknw:

Alright fellas, got the green light. Count us in.

Well be tenting as long as its not going to rain. Were no strangers to camping when its cold, most every year we tent for a week in Northern Maine during september so we're used to it.

Updated 👍🏼

Engine's finished - hoping to pick it up at lunch. No time this week, but next weekend looks good to get rolling on it.

How necessary are skidplates? I'm thinking I'll buy some to protect all my stupid plastic oil pans and such. Sliders would be nice. Peer pressure leads to dented rockers relatively easily..

I think it's early enough I can potentially plan to make this one. My transmission needs some attention before that abuse and I'm not sure my truck could keep up with Chicago traffic :nopityA:

Skid plates? Where is your sense of adventure?

As necessary as you want them to be.

All I have ever done with skidplates is dip them in water so far. :dntknw:
