TRS 2021 Fall Off-Road Round-Up

If you want hook ups and to run a generator... they have an area for that.

No I shouldn't need it. My better half should be fine without her air conditioning in September haha. Buddy heater works off propane. I have a tub set up with 2 group 31 batteries and a 1800watt inverter for any cooking or charging we may need to do. I dont want to run one or even hear a gen will camping myself. I do have a small 3000 watt quiet gen but it's mainly for running tools on service calls. It can stay at home

Yeah you certainly didn't need A/C last year... it was actually pretty cold.

:iamwithstupid:
I brought a Milwaukee battery powered fan and didn’t use it.

It will be a 6.5 hour drive, not counting on fuel stops and what not. It's a good thing I'm taking a vacation day for the drive. I'm thinking I'll be arriving in late afternoon, early evening. Tent camping of course.

Finally got the guy cornered. I got the drill covered on another weekend. That pretty much locks the weekend in as long as nothing else comes up. Still about 3 months of time for politicians to throw a wrench in the works...
I added you to the list of participants on the first page... There’s no backing out now.

It’s a 12 hour drive for me. Last year I left my house at 2am and drove through the night. I got there at 2pm.

I think you’ll be the winner of the farthest distance cash award. Not that I had any illusions that I was even a contender. Unless Jim plans to pocket the cash himself. Last time we drove to Texas, it was about 24-25 hours from Aliquippa to Humble and back.

It would be a 17 hour drive for me..

However, unfortunately, if I get this new job I won't be able to make it 😕

I think @Lil Bronco ’s trip took around 15 hours (same as Jim) last year.

My travel time is 45 minutes lol

AJ

I think mine is around 9 or 10 hours. But I could make it longer.

It's about 9 for me.

Well I guess it's a good damn thing I wasn't counting on that money for gas home. Unless winner wants to loan it out till next year haha.

It's about 2 1/2 hours for me. But trying to find some silly twisted sister restaurant last year it took me closer to 6 hours. This year I'll just pack a lunch for the ride or eat before I leave.

sorry Gump. You need a new navigator.

From our pm’s on August 25th, name of restaurant and identifying intersection.

I will probably head south from Hampton and could meet Justin's Posse at intersection of Hwys 41 and 116. Parking lot of "Twisted Sisters" restaurant. It will take me about 1.25 hr to get that far.”
