Troubleshooting a non working cruise control on a 2007 ranger 4x4 xlt

Cruise control is not working, can you guys give me some tips on troubleshooting? Thanks for any and all help.

Turn it off, and back on again.

2007 Ranger
Manual or automatic?
Manual has a clutch switch that the automatic doesn't have

Check fuses 20, 26 and 32 in cab fuse box, I mean pull them out and have a close look or test them with ohm meter

Does the Speed Control light on the dash come on?
Does it come on with Key on and the Bulb Test, all dash lights should come on for 2 seconds with key on, thats a Bulb test to see if any bulbs are burned out

Speed Control light looks like a speedometer with an arrow at 10:00

The steering wheel buttons are a known issue on Rangers and Ford trucks in general, they quit working

It’s automatic, and no the speed control light does not come on. I’ll check fuses in the morning. Thanks for info will get on it first thing tomorrow
