trouble with the Headlight mod

It's a lot of work and YES heed the warnings. I'd get some bone yard units to practice on first. I thought about this as well and decided I would screw it up so went for crystal aftermarkets instead.

It would be an even better idea to ask the folks at Gen Edge since they wrote the how to. They may be able to give you a better idea if you explain what you tried exactly.

hey guys, I was attempting the headlight mod but it seems that the glue is not releasing. I got my instructions http://www.generation-edge.info/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=641 <there. and I put them in for the same amount of time as they said but it won't budge. can I get some help?

I remember when I did mine, I had to leave them in for longer than they suggested at the same temp.. it really is a PITA to separate them but do it a little at a time with like a flathead or something.. don't do it if you are really nervous about cracking them though

Ive done this a couple of times although not on ranger headlights. I also left them in longer than they said and even turned up the temp a little. It may take a few trips back to the oven in order to keep it warm enough while doing it.
