2004 Ford ranger. I had the tank replaced bc a hole. After this I have had trouble when filling the tank. No matter how full or empty the tank is the gas comes bubbling back out. It's like it's under pressure then after pumping about 1/4 a gallon to 1/2 a gallon it starts clicking the pump off and kicking gas back out. Usually not much but sometimes almost half of what I buy is on the ground. I don't know the right names but the hose running from the neck to that gas tank was full of dirt, which I removed but no effect. I don't see any kinks in the lines. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

There is a vent on top of the tank that has an anti roll over valve in it. I would take a look at that to see if it is stuck closed, dirty, or if the vent line is kinked so it an not breathe.

Problem with the vent hose or evap canister is plugged up.

The bottom of the filler-hose has a trap built onto it....the trap may still be clogged up causing the gast to vomit out......remove the filler-hose from the tank & clean it good.

Check to c if they put the fuel filler neck on right
when i bought my truck it came with a 3" lift an the owner didn't but the filler neck back on right it an it was doing the same thing
an it sucks seeing ur gas in a puddle underneath ur truck
