I'm rebuilding the front suspension on my 99 Ranger 4x4, to include complete upper and lower control arms and camber kit on both sides. I figured this might apply to any 98+ Ranger, so I posted here.

In the process of installing my driver side upper control arm, got it in place and trying to install the camber kit. I have the rear one in pace just needs to be tightened down. On the forward mount, aft plate (closest to the shock tower on 4x4) I'm having trouble getting it into place. In the pic below you will see a tab circled, I have two of these in this location (inboard and out board of plate) and it appears that the plate is supposed to go between the to and rotate to set camber. My cam plate is sitting on to of these two tabs and not fitting down inside them. Has anyone else encountered this? If so how did you fix it?

In class right now I'll try to get a better pic of my problem area first chance I get.

Ok everybody, no need to post at once. I can't believe than no one else has encountered this. Doesn't matter now as I found my answer. There's two different style camber adjusters.

That is the style that I originally purchased online through e-bay with the rest of the parts. I know that what I bought was the right stuff because I used the part number from a reputable auto parts chain. It's the one that wouldn't fit.

And that is the other style. On a hunch I stopped by the local O'Reilly on the way home from work and picked up a set to try. Sure enough they fit perfect. This style reuses the factory hardware and one of the factory plates. The Plate this replaces is a non adjustable block.

Now as I said this is a 4wd Torsion Bar truck I'm working on, and it may be different than 2wd or coil spring trucks. The problem is that nobody mentions anything concerning applicability concerning 2wd, 4wd, coil spring, torsion, etc. in there listings.

Never run into this issue before aligning them. I've used Ford parts and aftermarket (Specialty Products) with no issues before?
