So my brakes are giving me a bit of a issue. The other day, the ABS light came on as well as another one, not sure what it is but looks like this----> ((I))

I checked the brake fluid reservoir and noticed there was only a tiny bit in the bottom. So I added some dot 4, drove about 20km and after that, the fluid was completely drained. Along the way the brakes started to go as well. So now I have no brakes and I think a vacuum leak from the break booster hose(lacks power, taking more gas).

After doing a little more searching around, I found some dot 3 and refilled. Took it for a spin around the block just now and the reservoir is still full but still no brakes. Any ideas on this? Where the F did the dot 4 fluid go and how come I have no brakes?

Any comments would be much appreciated, thanks:icon_cheers:

You've got a leak somewhere. That light you weren't sure of is the low brake fluid indicator. You've got a hardline leaking, a flex hose gone, a caliper piston leaking or a wheel cylinder leaking. You've got some investigating to do.

Perfect, I'ma take a look

Btw can emptly brake fluid cause a vacuum leak??

Back left brake line busted soaked the whole half of the axle and a good portion of the gas tank. Should have it fixed up tommorow
