My truck over heats real quickly an sucks water out the raditior like going out of style, Ive changed the raditior cap all the lower raditior hoses.. My dad thinks its the thermastat.Ive always been told if my oil is milky ive got a bad gasket but my oil isnt milky. Ive noticed water on the bottom of the valve covers an also when I drive the truck ive got to put the pedal to the floor justed to get to go 50 sumthing doesnt seam right, could a thermastat be the problem to why its sucking water an has no power? how much would yall say a thermastat be at the auto parts store for my truck?

sounds like head gaskets/cracked heads or block to me, and if you have water in the valve covers im sure your oil is milky.
