Trouble removing radius arms from d35

D30 is not as strong... we bent the knuckles into camber on my cousins jeep not even driving it hard on 33s... the D35 is stronger but still wouldn't go past 33s on it...

Do a D44 or fix it lol

I've been beating the PISS out of my D35 (unlocked with tacked caps on the 760X joints) on 35s and still can't break the damn thing other than cracking a beam and destroying hubs/wheel bearings

Yep, I'm running 35's on my D35 and did all the normal mods (full circlips, C Clip eliminator, beam window clearancing) but I've yet to do too much that's hard on the thing yet as other things have kept me from wheeling it hard (like the rollover, then the engine needing rebuilt), now that's a non issue so it'll get tested :)

Where do I get these "full circlips". I want them lol

broncograveyard.com has them for 4.00. Or they come with their 760X joints.

My 760x's didnt come with em:icon_confused: neither did the ones I just bought for my 44 like two months ago.

If all else fails Napa or Harbor Frieght will have em too if one doesn't to pay shipping for a 2 oz worth of steel snap-rings.

I wouldn't trust a snap ring that is not designed for it because the width needs to be a curtain dimension in order to keep the u joint centered and tight...

9$ for 4! Don't you need 12 total 27$ plus shipping for 12 snap rings? Seems a bit overpriced...

I got my snaprings at a Home Depot of all places. Someone else mentioned something about thicknesses, so i checked them... They're maybe 0.1 or 0.2mm thinner than the stock half-clips (kindof hard to tell just eyeballing them), it's nothing that'll cause an issue (been running them for 8½ years now). Though I guess if BG's clips are the exact same thickness and you're still worried about it, then maybe that's the way to go.

How'd you crack a beam? It wasn't on the bottom right next to where the radius arm mounts was it?

got mine at home depot too I think, found one of the spares I got and they're 1 3/16" just to save you some time...

1-3/16 I.D. (I don't think something that's 3/16" thick would fit well within the groove on the u-joint cap :D )

just go to the snap ring section at home depot or a hardware store and grab the ones that say 1 3/16" :), it says it right on the package, one per package at about $.25 each...
