Tripminder

Has anyone installed a tripminder on a truck with an EECV? I have a 97 and would like to install one of these.

I got the idea from reading that article. But, that is an EEC-IV ecm and I have an EEC-V ecm. I am unsure if it will work on my ecm. Is there even a fuel data pin on an EEC-V?

What does "bump" mean? Ive got a 95 and would love to do this mod. I already bought the trip computer but am having a hard time finding out if there is a fuel flow output. Any ideas?

if you have an eec-iv processor, it is usually on pin 34. I added a pin to my harness, but the computer was outputting data on 34, so it worked.

Probably be pin 43 for an EEC-V. Thats what it is on the Explorers for the message center. Pin locations are almost identical between Rangers and Explorers.
