Best shot I could get rolling down the damn wrong side of the road and saw this Ranger - no V-6's down here boys - 2.5 Turbo Diesels

TTRanger.jpg

And they are all RHD - right hand drive

theres an optional 3.0 4-cyl turbo diesel too...

Ahh - Yeah, all 4 cyl - V-6 engines cost out the ass in taxes is what I was told.

Koda - I would be afraid of wrecking it driving on the left side - too weird.:woot:

Ok another Ranger caught on film . . . disregard the foggy edges they are not photoshopped, when I pulled the camera out it was so humid the lens fogged up. The first photo could not be seen at all and had to be deleted - LOL

This Ranger is what they call the Lo-Lux, not many accessories, like a base model. The Hi-Lux would be like a XLT model.

the headlights are just a tad too big IMO. looks like someone suprised it by shoving something up its tailpipe :icon_surprised:

:woot: LOL - True, I also noticed that NONE of the lights or body panels will fit a US built Ranger.

And we wonder why the US automakers are having problems - there are two kinds of Rangers - doesn't it make sense to build one style and save on making separate molds and components for the same truck no matter where it is sold? I know there is porbably more to it than just that - but I just don't see the reasoning behind it. A lot of the imports (ALL cars are imports in Trinidad LOL) look exactly like they do in the US.

the last pic makes it look ugly

To be honest, IT IS Ugly LOL. I noticed how narrow the body is in height and then the cab pops up and is twice as high - weird.
