Drove them on the highway on my way home and theyre not as noisy as other mud terrain tires. Noise didnt bother me at all. Its been raining down here so i'll see how they run in rain.

did they all have the same sidewall as the one you posted or are they mixed up?

they do try real hard to match casings. mine are all michelin.

Mine are all BFG ATs. I think the large sizes are the only ones they have a hard time getting matching casings, but you can tell them you want matching ones and they'll do it.

have you taken those in the mud yet? I've been wanting to get those but was worried the center section would get caked up easily

I have been very busy at work and i havent been able to but i have been driving in pretty tough rain showers and they have handled pretty good. No slips or anything like that

i've been wanting to find a place that does re-treads, i figure i'll get mine done when they wear out... though that's going to be quite a while from now...

weezl, you mean get your old tired retreaded? thats a cool thought, should be even cheaper that buying retreads outright but you'd have to find a local outfit probably I know treadwright won't let you ship old carcasses to them, freight charges would offset any $ saved anyways :annoyed:

i've been told there are places in town here who do retreads... even if i just gave them my old ones, and got a new set with fresh tread... something like a core charge off...

though i know what my carcasses have been through, and what not... so i would rather have mine back...

here's my question about them though... how does the DOT stamp and such work, because tires DO expire... and technically you can't modify anything that's DOT approved, (safety lighting, tires, windshields ect) so how are retreads legal? the tread pattern has to be approved... for instance, if you took a snow tire carcass, and put summer tread on it... it's no longer a winter tire, but it's stamped with it, and depending on where you live, you can run that in the winter, even though you shouldn't legally be able to... (several areas of canada require "winter tires" during the winter months, which is not just a second set, but must be approved winter tires)

where can you get these tires

It's a shame they can't/don't have 33x12.50's anymore. Wouldn't mind picking up a set from them.

Eduardo, they look pretty good. How much did shipping run you?
