transmission problem

long story short was driving pop out of second gear clutch wouldn't go in so we replaced slave cylinder and clutch disc, have the transmission back out because it wont shift out of gear any ideas. (At a friends house trying to save him some problems/headaches)

Pop the top reads like shift forks are jammed

Clutch pedal not going down usually means quick connect on line has come apart.
Mechanically the Clutch and transmission have nothing to do with each other.

Thanks for input Ron. Makes sense. Just at a buddies house and he's doing most the work( I hurt my shoulder some how and can't use my right arm). The slave was leaking that's one reason, along with misdiagnosed, that it was replaced
