transmission problem

Most of the time when i start my truck and get going, my overdrive light starts blinking. When this happens there is a huge power loss when i start at a stoplight to go. Sometimes i can just pull over and restart my truck and it goes away. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

we need more info. what happend befor it go this bad???

My advice would be get some one to run a scan on it and pull the codes, as it maybe starting off in like 2nd or 3rd gear.
