Just a fun fact in-case you didn't know this, if you have a 5r55e or 5r44e transmission the O/D OFF light will flash if you over heat your transmission (or have any other transmission issue) I found this out the hard way after getting way too stuck in deep sand and pushed my truck a little to far. I used my code scanner app on my phone to see why this light started to flash and realized it was telling me the trans got too hot.
Went to midas and got the trans fluid changed and flushed two days after i got pulled out. Seems to still be working alright....for now. Hope I didnt damage my truck.
Ethier way, good thing to keep in mind if your pulling a large trailer or something and the O/D off light starts to flash.
