Hi,

I'm currently getting a very strong shake that is coming from the driveshaft area. Had the driveshaft balanced along with the ujoints and carrier bearing (rubber looks good) checked out.

The shaking starts at about 40mph and continues, gets worse when you get over 40mph and I let off the gas. Don't feel like pushing the truck over 40mph since its a pretty bad shake, feels like the driveshaft may get damaged.

Also since this is a 2 piece drive shaft, the 2 pieces should be in line right? The center carrier bearing holes (frame) and/or metal bracket is not letting me line it up all the way. Thinking about going to kragen/Oreilly and see how the metal brackets are shaped compared to the one I have.

Can't remember if I'm using the original carrier bracket or the one that came with the new center bearing.

I'm thinking that the transmission mount maybe changing the driveshaft angles causing this vibration/shaking.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Update:

Looks like I have a bent drivers side axle shaft. Got the truck on a lift and you can see the drivers side wheel/drum wobble.
