transmission lengths

Does anyone have a list of 2wd manual transmission lengths? I am looking to put a 2.3 in my Samurai and would like to keep my transfercase so i don't have to change axles right away. Thanks for the help.

Mercman go into the tech library, then go into Transmissions, Transfer Cases & Drive Shafts, click on Manual Transmissions, then go into Manual Transmissions ID. There are lengths posted for the various trannys there.....hope it helps!!!!!

Thanks, I have already been there. That gives OAl for 4wd models and an adapter length. I know they don't add the tailhousing to the transfercase adapter, so how long are they? That was my question.I know there is a lot of folks on this board that have measured recently. I was just hoping to get some info from a few of them. Like I said thanks for the help though.
