problem:
the transmission will not engage into overdrive gear, first 3 gears work fine but when i drive to about 55 mph its like it goes into nuetral UNTIL i rev to about 3k rpm's then it will catch in gear. depending on how fast im going is how many rpms i have to rev for it to catch. my question is what causes this problem? is my torque converter not locking in or something? the truck drives fine other than that, just has high line pressure and jerks into gear and reverse. any ideas? fluid is fine and level is good, the guy i bought it from said he had to change the flywheel on it and ever since it does this

I got a low mile trans has about 5000 miles was new when put in and a 160k 2.9 runs and drives fine asking 200

you in owensboro? ill buy tranny for 50 im in louisville, just need a couple weeks lol
