So I have a 93 ranger , Manual transmission. So I want to know what are symptoms of a bad trans and clutch ?

Engine goes vroom and truck doesn’t move.

Well , it’s just whenever I step on the clutch it sounds weird , I want to describe it like when you turn the switch on a car and you hear that little sound of the fuel pump I don’t know you have an idea , but when I step on the clutch that how it sounds till I take my foot off , when I go into gear it’s okay , but once in a while if I’m going fast like in the highway or passing a speed bump (obviously not fast on a speed bump) it kinda stumbles . Not sure if it’s the clutch, and if it can hurt the trans in any way
