i have a bw1354 auto tcase and i wanna swap to a manual t case will any tcase work such as a manual bw1354 or do i have to find a 3.0 tcase

for that year pay attention to the front output of the case, the SLA rangers have a different output than the TTB rangers...

^That's why you wanna run a 95-97 Explorer front shaft on a 97 and older 1354M on a 98+ truck. The chances of finding a 02-03 Fx4 1354M with the 98+ front output are slim to none...but they're out there....very rare though.

Take a look at your transmission tailhousing on the driverside just in front of where the tcase bolts onto. If there's two threaded holes, youre good to go. Those holes are what the linkage bolts onto.

another ? lol my truck is a 5 spd so i have to get a 5 spd transfercase rite? or will an auto work 2

the only thing that would be different would be the linkage that mounts to the tranny, but I think they might all be the same by the time they got to your year...

ok sounds good. how much difference is there in a 1354 and a 1350 and would it work because i have a 1350 but i aint real sure of the differences

well, the 1350 wasn't installed on the newer rangers, the outputs on the 1354 on yours are probably pretty different than the 1350
