i have a 2000 ranger i put a 98 explorer drive train in was wondering if the 4405 trasfer case will bolt up 2 the v8 tranny so i can get rid of the all wheel drive

No, you need the BW4406...it will bolt up and function as the 1354 did.

4406 will bolt up and function, however it might not clear the drivers side framerail or gas tank. I'm planing to use a bw1356 (almost identical case) myself, but haven't had a chance to check frame clearance yet.

Bw1356 is found in f150-f350 from 88 (i believe) to 96. Also found in full size broncos of the same era. I plan to use a 90-96 bronco case because they came with the flange style rear output, just a personal preference. Ive currently got a mockup case, but already had my awd t-case installed when i got it.
I'm not gonna have time to swap cases till mid to late january, but will at least check for fitment with the mockup case next week, assuming i don't have any issues come up with the rest of my swap.

yea, a 1356 is from a late '80s-to-'96 f-150. Either will work...the 4406 was found in newer 97+ f-150s, but as said can cause slight clearance issues with the frame rail.
