transfer case shifter with a body lift

hello,
i have a 93 ranger 4x4 3.0l and 5 spd it has a 3-4 lift in it and i just put a 3" body lift in my truck and now the transfer case lever is really tight to the floor, has anyone done this. any help would be nice.

too bad it didn't come with the kit, as i believe it should have. you can go back to where you got it and i'm sure they will sell you the extension, with the instructions. if that isn't possible, any of the aftermarket suppliers will carry them. might try checking here at the TRS store first.

i am having the same problem.
the manual shifter for the transmission comes with an extension, however i have been unable to find one for the transfer case linkage.

we are thinking of cutting and welding our own. it doesnt need to be pretty, just longer

wow. never had that problem on my 1st gen '83. also, i went with only a 2" bl. i don't think they make a 2" anymore. good luck!
