transfer case leak

transfer case on my '05 fx4 4.0 is leaking slowly, appeards to be where the driveshaft comes in, anyone else ever experience this problem, and if so was it the shaft input seal? , turck has 53,000 miles on it

Yep mine has that too. Not so much a leak yet, but wet with fluid. In fact, my rear diff yoke had the same leak, eventually started to drip so I replaced the seal. I have the seals for the TC case and front diff yoke too, since they are both wet and will eventually drip.
