What are my options for bigger output flange. Doing one piece driveshaft and need the bigger flange. Will a pinion flange work or will i just have to get the output flange off the same yearish vehicle? Explorers? After what year were the bigger flanges added? Shaft is off 07 and going on 97 4.0l supercab. Thanks.

I believe '01 is when they switched to the larger flange.

Some (but not all) '98-'00 will have the flange also if the truck has an aluminum driveshaft (there was a driveshaft "thump" TSB on these trucks that involved replacing the original steel driveshaft with the later aluminum one).
