transfer and diff lube....

I'm at a total loss here. the recommended oil for the transfer case on my '08 doesn't exist where I live. is there an alternative replacement? will dexron work instead of mercon? Is the motorcraft x12 stuff really not sold anymore?
I've never had an issue finding the correct oil before. i can get the diff oil its just not the recommended but its still the same viscosity.

I live in Europe so they never had the gas version of the ranger. Does the diesel tcase use the same oil?

It should. Transfer case oil has nothing to do with engine type.

Put the diesel ra ger into the good ol amazon and got what I need. It will either work or explode
