Either a transmission shop or a junkyard will have one. A parts store might be able to get one (they usually have rebuilder type places for engines and transmissions) but you will have to talk to a live person.
no i am only one person on here, struggle enough with making one account have no need to make two, i just want to fix my tranny. can a person interchange a tran in these rangers or is it best to still with orignal? i only haul horse/cattle feed and wood in the truck it doesn't have a hitch to pull anything
whats your thought
If you are talking about interchanging a manual with an automatic...
* first you are doing it backwards most people go from auto to manual
* second, it will cost you more than putting another manual behind it as you will have to add shift linkage, the column shift lever and other automatic only items, plus (not sure on this tho) your driveshaft may be different.
If you are asking about interchangability between years of Rangers, I believe that any 89 and newer manual transmission will work. Also the 94+ Mazda B series trucks will work.
